MAUI CHURCHES AND CHAPEL WEDDING LOCATIONS

Catholic weddings have special requirements before the wedding ceremony. Please contact the parish priest as soon as possible. The Church you intend to marry in will need an authorization letter from your parish priest allowing the church to marry you out of your regular parish. The Church also requires a recent baptismal certificate and for couples to engage in a process of marriage preparation. In cases where one party is divorced, they may not be remarried in the Catholic Church. All ceremonies of the Catholic religion must be performed inside a Catholic Church.

	Grand Wailea Seaside Chapel
	Appearing to float on water, the Wailea Chapel was built to symbolize the preservation of the Hawaiian culture and provide the finest quality of products. The attention to detail in this New England style chapel is exquisite. The stained glass and the chandeliers of seventeenth century design are indeed great works of art. Enter the chapel at dusk, into an elegant setting with a classical harp serenading you throughout the ceremony. The chapel bells will ring joyously, announcing your marriage. The gazebo and tropical flower garden setting nearby is ideal for cake and champagne toast. The chapel can accommodate 50 guests seated in pews and an additional 100 guests.

	Keawalai Congregational Church
	The ocean sounds and trade winds provide for a perfect wedding location on a small historical Hawaiian church in Makena where lava meets the sea. Decorate this private and comfortable church with beautiful tropical and elegant flowers for a quaint Hawaiian wedding by the sea. (Up to 120 guests).

	Holy Innocence Episcopal Church
	On a large grassy area located on Front Street in Lahaina Towne near the large banyan tree, shops and restaurant is perfect for larger wedding groups and can accommodate receptions and beach photography across the street on the beach.

	Maria Lanakila Church
	A beautiful Catholic Church located near Lahaina Towne. Available Monday through Friday 9 AM to 2 PM. Not available during Lent.

	Sacred Hearts Church
	A beautiful and idyllic Catholic Church nestled in Norfolk Pines near Kapalua Bay. Available Saturdays 9 AM to 5 PM. Not available during Lent.

	St. Johns Church
	A darling, quaint church location in Kula on the slopes of Haleakala with wonderful ocean and mountain views.

	Holy Ghost Mission
	A Catholic Church founded in 1894 and restored in 1994, with a gorgeous interior of light pink walls and an ornate style.

	Saint Theresa Church
	This church has a capacity for over 600. This semi-rotund house of worship is designed in contemporary style. The interior of the church is semi-circular to create the idea of community and allow the congregation to be closer to one another and to the alter. The floor is slanted theater style to allow maximum visibility. Natural light, ventilation and natural materials (wood, tile, stone) were used to create a unique setting. Besides planters and skylights, the stained glass windows along the sides depict profiles of the Hawaiian Islands and the windows are decorated with island flowers - plumeria and hibiscus blossoms.

	Holy Rosary Church
	Holy Rosary church is one of the scenic stone buildings that give the feel of upcountry Maui. The church was built in 1916 and is listed in the National Registry of of Historic Churches.
